Regular Season Round 20: SKK Siedlce - Astoria Bydg. 76-64

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 12th ranked Astoria Bydg. (6-14) lost on the road to thirteenth ranked SKK Siedlce (6-14) 76-64. It looked good early as Astoria Bydg. took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then SKK Siedlce had a 20-10 second period charge getting the lead and Astoria Bydg. was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 64-76. 24 personal fouls committed by Astoria Bydg. helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Karol Debski (198-84, agency: Promotex) who scored 18 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Power forward Lukasz Ratajczak (201-86, agency: Promotex) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. Tomasz Prostak (188-88) produced 17 points and 5 assists and center Mateusz Fatz (205-96) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Astoria Bydg. players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. SKK Siedlce moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with defeated Astoria Bydg. Astoria Bydg. lost seventh consecutive game. SKK Siedlce's next round opponent will be higher ranked Rosa II Radom (#8) on the road and it may be quite challenging game.
