The game in Velika Gorica was also worth to mention about. Fifth ranked KK Zabok (10-6) played at the court of 8th ranked Gorica (6-10). KK Zabok defeated Gorica 70-60. The game was mostly controlled by KK Zabok. Gorica was better in fourth quarter 19-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. KK Zabok dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Gorica's 18. They outrebounded Gorica 44-30 including 17 on the offensive glass. KK Zabok will play against higher ranked Kvarner (#3) in Rijeka in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Gorica will play on the road against Ribola Kastela (#7) in Kastela Sucurac and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
