Regular Season Round 19: Dolomiti En. TR - Enel Brindisi 95-83

Another exciting game was played in Trento between eighth ranked Dolomiti En. TR and 5th ranked Enel Brindisi where host Dolomiti En. TR (10-9) won against Enel Brindisi (11-8) 95-83. The game was mostly controlled by Dolomiti En. TR. Enel Brindisi was better in third quarter 30-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Dolomiti En. TR dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Enel Brindisi's 36. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Tony Mitchell (198-89, college: Alabama) who helped to win the game recording 29 points. International forward Davide Pascolo (201-90) contributed with 19 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American guard Elston Turner (195-90, college: Texas A&M) answered with 28 points and American-Georgian point guard Jacob Pullen (185-89, college: Kansas St.) added 20 points and 4 assists in the effort for Enel Brindisi. Five Dolomiti En. TR and four Enel Brindisi players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dolomiti En. TR moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Granarolo BO. Enel Brindisi at the other side keeps the fifth position with eight games lost. Dolomiti En. TR will play against Cimberio Varese (#14) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Enel Brindisi will play against Umana Venezia (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
