A2 Silver top team - Ravenna (15-7) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat seventh ranked Chieti (11-11) 93-83. The game was mostly controlled by Ravenna. Chieti managed to win third quarter 26-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Point guard Eugenio Rivali (178-86) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized San Marino Andrea Raschi (198-79) chipped in 12 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four Ravenna players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Adam Sollazzo (198-90, college: E.Tenn.St., agency: Two Points) responded with 26 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Diego Monaldi (184-93, agency: Players Group) scored 23 points. Ravenna maintains first position with 15-7 record, which they share with Treviso Basket. Chieti at the other side dropped to the eighth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Aget Service IM. Ravenna is looking forward to face Naturhouse Ferrara (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Chieti will play against Legnano (#12) and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
