Regular Season Round 22: Tortona - Latina Basket 92-82

Not a big story in a game when 13th ranked Latina Basket (9-13) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked Tortona (12-10) 92-82. The game was mostly controlled by Tortona. Latina Basket was better in fourth quarter 22-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a very good performance for American Ramon Galloway (190-91, college: La Salle) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 5 rebounds. The former international forward Rodolfo Valenti (198-80) contributed with 14 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) for the winners. Guard Marco Portannese (192-89, agency: SPORTlab Agency) replied with 19 points and 7 rebounds and naturalized Nigerian forward Francesco Ihedioha (196-86) added 17 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Latina Basket. Five Latina Basket players scored in double figures. Tortona moved-up to seventh place. Latina Basket at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the thirteenth position with 13 games lost. Tortona's next round opponent will be Scafati (#10) on the road. Latina Basket will play against Treviglio and hope to win that game.
