Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Sendai 89ers (22-12) rolled over at home 6th ranked Aomori Watts (17-17) 93-66. Aomori Watts were tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Sendai 89ers shot 23 for 33 from the free-throw line, while Aomori Watts only scored six points from the stripe. Sendai 89ers forced 21 Aomori Watts turnovers. 26 personal fouls committed by Aomori Watts helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
