Regular Season Round 36: Osaka Evessa - Bambitious Nara 82-78

No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Osaka Evessa (21-13) beat at home 9th ranked Bambitious Nara (10-24) 82-78. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts were ahead by 3 points but lost the second period ending it with a 1-point deficit before their 18-13 run, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was American swingman Seth Tarver (196-88, college: Oregon St., agency: Interperformances) who scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. The other American import forward Joshua Dollard (203-86, college: USC Aiken) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. Four Osaka Evessa players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-90, college: Portland St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Tatsuya Suzuki (169-91) added 17 points and 14 assists respectively. Osaka Evessa have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 21-13 record, which they share with Niigata Albirex. Bambitious Nara lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth place with 24 games lost. Osaka Evessa's next round opponent will be higher ranked Shiga L-Stars (#4) at home and it may be quite challenging game.
