Very important is a road loss of second ranked PGE Turow (15-4) against fourth ranked Rosa (14-6) on Sunday night. Visiting PGE Turow was defeated by Rosa in Radom 90-73. The game without a history. Rosa led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to PGE Turow's 22. They outrebounded PGE Turow 45-32 including 35 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American point guard Danny Gibson (177-84, college: S.Indiana) who scored 28 points and 8 rebounds. The other American import guard Michael Taylor (186-86, college: Iowa St.) chipped in 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international Aleksander Czyz (201-90, college: Nevada) produced 15 points and 9 rebounds and the former international power forward Damian Kulig (205-87) added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Rosa have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 14-6 record. Defending champion PGE Turow keeps the second place with four games lost. Rosa will meet bottom-ranked Wikana Start (#16) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. PGE Turow will play against Polpharma (#15) and hope to secure a win.
