Very important is a road loss of third ranked FCM Ferentino (14-8) against fourth ranked Manital Torino (14-7) on Monday night. Visiting FCM Ferentino was defeated by Manital Torino in Torino 80-70. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of FCM Ferentino. The game was mostly controlled by Manital Torino. FCM Ferentino was better in third quarter 21-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Manital Torino won last quarter 24-16. Worth to mention a great performance of American Ronald Lewis (193-84, college: Ohio St.) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 6 rebounds. The former international swingman Guido Rosselli (198-83) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Naturalized Argentinian Mario Jose Ghersetti (201-81) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and naturalized Cameroonian center Paul Biligha (200-90, agency: Players Group) added 14 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for FCM Ferentino. Manital Torino moved-up to third place. FCM Ferentino at the other side dropped to the fourth position with eight games lost. Manital Torino will play against Fileni BPA Jesi (#14) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. FCM Ferentino will play against Casalpusterlengo (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
