Regular Season Round 33: Boras - LF Basket 96-93

The most exciting game of round 33 in the Basketligan took place in Boras. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 4th placed LF Basket (18-10) to second ranked Boras Basket (20-8) 96-93 on Tuesday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of LF Basket. LF Basket was trailing by 5 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 26-22 charge of Boras Basket, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was American point guard James Miller (182-79, college: N.Carolina A&T, agency: Higher Vision Sports) who scored 24 points and 5 assists. The former international Christian Maraker (206-82, college: Pacific) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international swingman Christopher Ryan (196-90) who recorded 16 points, 7 assists and 4 steals and American guard Alex Wesby (198-80, college: Temple, agency: R.H.Consultancy) added 23 points respectively. Four Boras Basket and five LF Basket players scored in double figures. Boras Basket maintains second place with 20-8 record behind leader Norrkoping. LF Basket at the other side dropped to the fifth position with ten games lost. They share it with Uppsala. Boras Basket will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. LF Basket will play at home against KFUM Jamtland (#11) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
