LSB top team - Capitalinos (22-0) added another victory to their record on Friday. This time they beat fifth ranked Camaguey (9-14) 47-39. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 47-39. International center Orestes Torres (203-87) orchestrated the victory by scoring 4 points and 10 rebounds. The former international Allen Jemmott (194-80) contributed with 10 points for the winners. The former international Yordany Jaca (195-83) answered with 7 points and 7 rebounds and forward Yoanny Baldo (191-89) added 6 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Camaguey. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Capitalinos have an impressive series of twenty two victories in a row. They maintain first place with 22-0 record. Camaguey lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 14 games lost. Capitalinos are again looking forward to face Camaguey (#5) in the next round. Camaguey will have a break next round.
