A1 top team - AE Ellinikou (17-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat eighth ranked Athinaikos (5-13) in Athens 72-54. The game without a history. AE Ellinikou led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. AE Ellinikou outrebounded Athinaikos 43-26 including 29 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American forward Lykendra Johnson (185-89, college: Michigan St.) notched a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international power forward Afroditi Kosma (187-83) supported her with 9 points and 8 rebounds.
