Rather expected game in Anjo where 10th ranked Hitachi Cougars (2-23) were defeated by eighth ranked Aishin Wings (9-16) 62-52. The game without a history. Aishin Wings led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Hitachi Cougars to just 6 points in first quarter. They outrebounded Hitachi Cougars 47-32 including 32 on the defensive glass. 27 personal fouls committed by Hitachi Cougars helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of international power forward Evelyn Mawuli (180-95) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Kasumi Takahashi (167-87) answered with 12 points and 4 assists and guard Inamoto Satoko (165-84) added 13 points in the effort for Hitachi Cougars.
