Rather expected game when 10th ranked Oviedo (2-12) was edged at home by seventh ranked Badajoz BF (7-8) 65-62 on Saturday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Oviedo won fourth quarter 25-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Badajoz BF dominated on the defensive end, holding Oviedo to just 7 points in first quarter. Badajoz BF had a 30-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. Badajoz BF will face Araski AES (#8) in Vitoria-Gasteiz in the next round.
