Regular Season Round 2: Maitland M. - Norths Bears 73-62

There was a minor upset when Norths Soul Sports Bears (1-1) were defeated on the road by Maitland Mustangs (1-1) 73-62. Norths Soul Sports Bears were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Mitchell Rueter (198, college: Cent.Arkansas) orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points and 7 rebounds (was perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line !!!). Terrell Turner contributed with 18 points for the winners. Estonian swingman Erik Dorbek (196-82) replied with 20 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Tanner Tanner (206-90, college: Pepperdine) added 6 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Norths Soul Sports Bears. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Maitland Mustangs will play against Crusaders (#8) in the next round. Norths Soul Sports Bears will play against Hornsby Spiders to get more than just one victory in their record.
