Second Stage Round 7: BG Lulea - Orongo 63-75

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both sixth ranked Orongo Dragons and 10th ranked BG Lulea had identical 2-3 record. But BG Lulea was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Sundsvall 75-63 on Saturday night. The guests trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 41-25 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Orongo Dragons forced 19 BG Lulea turnovers and outrebounded them 46-25 including a 18-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Alexander Russom who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points and 6 rebounds. Guard David Niklasson (192-95) helped adding 20 points and 8 rebounds. Four Orongo Dragons players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Denzel Andersson (202-96) responded with 14 points and 6 rebounds and forward Andreas Von Uthmann (197-96) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. BG Lulea's coach Fredrik Joulamo gave the chance to play for ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Orongo Dragons maintains sixth place in BEHS forts with 3-3 record, which they share with Jarfalla. Loser BG Lulea keeps the tenth position with four games lost. Orongo Dragons will face league's leader Taby Basket at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
