No shocking result in a game when third ranked Inter Bratislava (27-8) crushed at home 9th ranked Levice (10-24) 109-65 on Saturday. The game without a history. Inter Bratislava led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Levice's 28. Inter Bratislava forced 21 Levice turnovers and outrebounded them 44-26 including a 32-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Inter Bratislava especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 64.7 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Levice's players. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Justin Ward (203-91, college: Lakeland) who led the winners and scored 24 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). His fellow American import point guard Kelvin Parker (184-82, college: NW Missouri St.) accounted for 10 points, 11 assists and 4 steals for the winning side. Four Inter Bratislava players scored in double figures. Inter Bratislava's coach Oleg Meleschenko felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Serbian power forward Nemanja Miljkovic (204-90) came up with 16 points and 5 rebounds and Croatian forward Eddi Jurjevic (202-93) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Levice in the defeat. Defending champion maintains third place with 27-8 record having just three points less than leader Prievidza. Levice lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 24 games lost. Inter Bratislava's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Bratislava to the arena Karlovka.
