There was no surprise when 3rd ranked TYCO Rapla (15-7) was defeated at home by first ranked TU/Rock (21-5) 84-68 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 46-25 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. TU/Rock outrebounded TYCO Rapla 37-24 including 17 on the offensive glass. TYCO Rapla was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international point guard Tanel Sokk (182-85) fired 17 points and 7 assists for the winners. The former international guard Tanel Kurbas (197-88) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. Four TU/Rock players scored in double figures. TU/Rock's coach Gert Kullamae used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Croatian center Domagoj Bubalo (212-91) produced 20 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Sander Saare (184-94) added 9 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. TU/Rock have an impressive 13-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 21-5 record. TYCO Rapla at the other side keeps the third place with seven games lost. TU/Rock will have a break next round. TYCO Rapla will play on the road against Audentese/N. in Tallinn and hope to win that game.
