Rather predictable result when eighth ranked Rosa II Radom (11-10) defeated at home 12th ranked SKK Siedlce (6-15) 87-79 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 31-17 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Rosa II Radom dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to SKK Siedlce's 28. The best player for the winners was point guard Jakub Schenk (185-94) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points, 11 assists and 4 steals (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!). Forward Lukasz Bonarek (200-93, college: MSU-West Plains) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. Rosa II Radom's coach Karol Gutkowski used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Lukasz Ratajczak (201-86, agency: Promotex) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and guard Rafal Sobilo (188-89) added 16 points and 4 assists respectively. Four SKK Siedlce players scored in double figures. Rosa II Radom moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Spojnia. SKK Siedlce at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the thirteenth position with 15 games lost. Rosa II Radom will meet GKS Tychy (#11) on the road in the next round. SKK Siedlce will play against the league's second-placed Krosno where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
