Second Stage Round 11: Dynamo Polotsk - Rubon II 77-107

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 11th ranked Dynamo Polotsk's (3-9) home loss to tenth ranked Rubon II (8-12) 77-107. The game without a history. Rubon II led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Dynamo Polotsk's 42. Rubon II had a 30-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for Yahor Patupchik (191-94) who led the winners and scored 44 points (!!!). Point guard Ammar Barri (180-98) accounted for 18 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Four Rubon II players scored in double figures. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players saving starting five for next games. Swingman Sergey Sapegin (195-84) came up with 35 points (!!!), 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and forward Yauheni Mikhailovskiy (191-89) added 14 points respectively for Dynamo Polotsk in the defeat. Newly promoted Rubon II maintains tenth place in League with 8-12 record. Dynamo Polotsk at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eleventh position with nine games lost. Rubon II's next round opponent will be higher ranked GOCOR-Sozh (#5) in Gomel and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
