Regular Season Round 26: Toyota B SR - Fujitsu RW 58-54

The most important game in the last round took place in Aichi between second ranked Fujitsu RW (19-5) and seventh ranked Toyota B SR (12-12) on Sunday night. Fujitsu RW was defeated by Toyota B SR in a tough game on the road 54-58. Fujitsu RW trailed by 12 points at halftime and as many as 16 after three quarters before a 20-8 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 54-58 at the end of the game. Toyota B SR dominated on the defensive end, holding Fujitsu RW to just 7 points in first quarter. The best player for the winners was power forward Sari Osabe (174-87) who scored 9 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Guard Yui Kawahara (169-91) chipped in 19 points. International forward Moeko Nagaoka (180-93) produced 24 points and 7 rebounds and international swingman Chinatsu Yamamoto (175-91) added 8 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the guests. Fujitsu RW's coach BT Toews rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Toyota B SR maintains seventh position with 12-12 record. Fujitsu RW at the other side keeps the second place with five games lost. Toyota B SR will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Fujitsu RW will play on the road against Haneda Vickies in Tokyo and is hoping to win this game.
