The game in Wakayama supposed to be also quite interesting. Third ranked Toshiba Thunders (24-10) played at the court of 5th ranked Wakayama T. (4-29). Toshiba Thunders smashed Wakayama T. 105-63 on Sunday. Toshiba Thunders forced 20 Wakayama T. turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. Toshiba Thunders looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Wakayama T.'s players. Toshiba Thunders have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains third position with 24-10 record having three points less than leader Hitachi SR. Wakayama T. lost sixteenth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 29 games lost. Toshiba Thunders will face Kumamoto V. (#6) at home in the next round. Wakayama T. will play against Toyota Alvark in Tokyo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
