Very expected game in Valladolid where 14th ranked CB Prat (5-16) was crushed by sixth ranked Blancos de Rueda (13-7) 85-59. The game without a history. Blancos de Rueda led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to CB Prat's 18. They outrebounded CB Prat 45-30 including a 35-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Mikel Uriz (182-89) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Javier Lucas (207-86) contributed with 11 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Blancos de Rueda players scored in double figures. Swingman Alberto Abalde (200-95) replied with 10 points and 9 rebounds and guard Alex Ros (193-83) added 12 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) in the effort for CB Prat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Blancos de Rueda moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Palencia. CB Prat lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fourteenth position with 16 games lost. Blancos de Rueda's next round opponent will be Oviedo CB (#11) on the road where they are favorite. CB Prat will play against Burgos and hope to win that game.
