International power forward Cristiano Felicio (206-92, college: Oregon) contributed with 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Jamaal Smith (175-85, college: N.Mexico) replied with 25 points and forward Diego Conceicao (200-87) added 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Macae. Five Flamengo and four Macae players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. They keep the twelfth place with 16 games lost. Flamengo will play against Sao Jose/Vinac (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
