Not a big story in a game when Elitzur Netanya (2-17) was defeated on the road by ASA Jerusalem (7-12) 77-63. The game without a history. ASA Jerusalem led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Elitzur Netanya's 36. It was a very good performance for American guard Courtney Clements (183-89, college: San Diego St.) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 8 rebounds. Her fellow American import Ashley Shields (180-85, college: SW Tenn.St.CC) contributed with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Four ASA Jerusalem players scored in double figures. Canadian forward Kalisha Keane (185-89, college: Michigan St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and American forward Chastity Reed (185-89, college: UALR) added 16 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Elitzur Netanya. ASA Jerusalem's next round opponent will be Hap.Petah Tikva (#7) on the road. Elitzur Netanya will play against Elitzur Holon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
