Important game to mention about took place in San Luis. Third ranked Espanola SL (14-16) saved a 2-point victory at home edging one of their biggest challengers CASLA (15-15) 82-80 in the fight for the third place. Worth to mention a great performance of Gustavo Acosta (198-89) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Lionel Sola (183-83) who added 16 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Joaquin Gamazo (195-91) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Lucas Cassetai (183-91) scored 17 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Newly promoted Espanola SL maintains third position with 14-16 record having nine points less than leader Villa Angela which they share with defeated CASLA. CASLA at the other side keeps the third place with 15 games lost. Espanola SL will play against Alianza Viedma (#4) in Rio Negro in the next round. CASLA will play on the road against Anzorena in Mendoza and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
