There was no surprise when 5th ranked KFUM Uppsala (4-5) was defeated at home by second ranked 08 Stockholm (5-5) 95-82 on Wednesday. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when 08 Stockholm's pressure prevailed and they won that period 24-17 extending their advantage to 13 points. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. The best player for the winners was forward Simon Forsberg (197-90) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds. The former international guard Olivier Ilunga (185-84, agency: Promotex) chipped in 18 points and 6 assists. Forward Oliver Ehrnvall (197-96) produced 13 points and 7 rebounds and guard Kevin Grant (191-94) added 18 points respectively for the hosts. Five 08 Stockholm and four KFUM Uppsala players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players saving starting five for next games. 08 Stockholm maintains second position in Superettan with 5-5 record having just two points less than leader Malbas. Loser KFUM Uppsala keeps the fifth place with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
