Regular Season Round 20: Sleza Wroclaw - Konin 66-82
Date: February 25, 2015
Bottom-ranked Konin managed to get a third victory. This time they won against seventh-ranked Sleza Wroclaw 82-66. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 16-point difference proves that Konin was well-prepared to that game. The game was mostly controlled by Konin. Sleza Wroclaw was better in fourth quarter 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sleza Wroclaw was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Gloria Brown (187-89, college: UTEP, agency: Merit Management Group) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 22 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and guard Aaryn Ellenberg (170-92, college: Oklahoma) who added 24 points and 4 assists during the contest. Four Konin players scored in double figures. point guard Adrianne Ross (173-84, college: TCU) responded with 22 points and 8 rebounds and guard Jhasmin Player (178-87, college: Baylor, agency: Merit Management Group) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Konin (3-16) moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Gdynia. Newly promoted Sleza Wroclaw keeps the seventh position with 12 games lost.
