The game in Oslo was also worth to mention about. Third ranked Asker Aliens (13-5) played at the court of 5th ranked Ammerud Bskt (7-12). Asker Aliens defeated Ammerud Bskt 94-80. The game was mostly controlled by Asker Aliens. Ammerud Bskt was better in fourth quarter 22-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The winners were led by DR Congolese power forward Djo Yele (203-82) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds and the former international guard Espen Stien (186-86) supported him with 26 points and 5 assists. Asker Aliens' coach Rob Knight allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 27 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists by American guard Mookie Rivelino (194-84, college: Quincy) did not help to save the game for Ammerud Bskt. The former international point guard Thomas Vangen (184-79) added 11 points and 5 rebounds for the hosts. Four Ammerud Bskt players scored in double figures. Asker Aliens moved-up to second place, which they share with Gimle BBK. Ammerud Bskt at the other side keeps the fifth position with 12 games lost. Asker Aliens will play against Nidaros Jets (#6) in Tromdheim in the next round. Ammerud Bskt will have a break next round.
