Regular Season Round 39: Shiga L-Stars - Kyoto Hannar. 57-75

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 4th placed Shiga L-Stars' (22-13) home loss to third ranked Kyoto Hannar. (31-6) 57-75 on Saturday. The game without a history. Kyoto Hannar. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Kyoto Hannar. forced 20 Shiga L-Stars turnovers. American players dominated the game. It was a good game for forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward David Palmer (201-82, college: S.Utah) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Guard Terrance Woodbury (201-87, college: Georgia, agency: Haylett Sports) answered with 15 points and center Chris Holm (212-84, college: Vermont) added 6 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Shiga L-Stars. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kyoto Hannar. have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Hamamatsu P. and Okinawa GK. Loser Shiga L-Stars keep the fourth place with 13 games lost. Kyoto Hannar. will have a break next round. Shiga L-Stars will play again at home against Kyoto Hannar. (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
