Regular Season Round 19: Aulnoye - Limoges 66-55

We should mention about the upset which took place in Aulnoye, where 4th placed Limoges (12-7) lost to twelfth ranked Aulnoye (7-12) in a road game 55-66. The game without a history. Aulnoye led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was an exceptional evening for guard Aminata Konate (169-90) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Florine Courby (180-89) accounted for 17 points and 4 assists for the winning side. American guard Krystal Vaughn (185-86, college: VCU) came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Melanie Devaux (165-92) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Limoges in the defeat. Aulnoye moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Le Havre. Limoges at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. Aulnoye's next round opponent will be higher ranked Charnay (#5) in Charnay-les-Macon and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
