Alvik Basket was trailing by 7 points at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 23-18 charge of Mark Basket, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Jasmine Thomas (170-91, college: Michigan St.) who helped to win the game recording 10 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import Ashley Daniels (186-89, college: Arkansas, agency: Two Points) who added 11 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Alvik Basket's coach Francisco Pinto tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Mark Basket moved-up to fifth place, which they share with defeated Alvik Basket. Mark Basket is looking forward to face IK Eos (#9) in Lund in the next round. Alvik Basket will play at home against Norrkoping Dolphins (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
