There was no surprise when 6th ranked Vicenza (1-4) was defeated on the road by leader San Pietro (5-0) 65-59 on Saturday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 34-23 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. San Pietro made 25-of-31 free shots (80.6 percent) during the game, while Vicenza only scored nine points from the stripe. San Pietro forced 20 Vicenza turnovers.
