No shocking result in a game when second ranked Iwate Big Bulls (30-7) crushed on the road 6th ranked Aomori Watts (19-18) 87-54 on Saturday. The game without a history. Iwate Big Bulls led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Iwate Big Bulls forced 19 Aomori Watts turnovers. It was a good game for American forward Scootie Randall (198-90, college: Temple) who led his team to a victory with 21 points and 6 assists. His fellow American import forward Lawrence Blackledge (206-86, college: Marquette) contributed with 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Blackledge is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Iwate Big Bulls players scored in double figures. American-Panamanian forward Gyno Pomare (203-86, college: San Diego) answered with 20 points and 9 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and Guyanese-American forward Gordon Klaiber (206-83, college: Fair Dickinson) added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Aomori Watts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Iwate Big Bulls have a solid series of four victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader. Loser Aomori Watts keep the sixth place with 18 games lost. Iwate Big Bulls will have a break next round. Aomori Watts will play again at home against the league's leader Iwate Big Bulls (#1) and hope to win that game.
