Regular Season Round 22: Caceres - Azpeitia 70-59

LEB Silver top team - Caceres Basket (17-5) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat thirteenth ranked Azpeitia (7-14) 70-59. The game was mostly controlled by Caceres Basket. Azpeitia managed to win third quarter 12-8. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Forward Fernando Fernandez (198-89, college: Hannibal-LG, agency: Dynamics Global Management) fired 12 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Lithuanian forward Rolandas Jakstas (202-92) chipped in 6 points and 9 rebounds. American forward Brandon Garrett (206-90, college: Murray St., agency: Duran International) produced 14 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import center Michael Mayer (205-92, college: Williams, agency: Duran International) added 10 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Caceres Basket have a solid four-game winning streak. Caceres Basket maintains first position with 17-5 record. Azpeitia lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth place with 14 games lost. Caceres Basket will meet league's second-placed Castello in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Azpeitia will play against CB Guadalajara (#4) and hope to secure a win.
