Regular Season Round 22: Paris-Levallois - Limoges 92-66

The most important game in the last round took place in Levallois between third ranked Limoges CSP Elite (15-7) and sixth ranked Paris-Levallois (13-9) on Saturday night. Limoges CSP Elite was crushed by Paris-Levallois on the road 66-92. The game was mostly controlled by Paris-Levallois. Limoges CSP Elite managed to win second period 28-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Paris-Levallois made 16-of-17 free shots (94.1 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Limoges CSP Elite turnovers. Paris-Levallois looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Mike Green (185-85, college: Butler) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 assists. The other American import swingman Blake Schilb (201-83, college: Loyola, IL) contributed with 13 points and 8 assists for the winners. Five Paris-Levallois players scored in double figures. American guard Jamar Smith (191-87, college: S.Indiana, agency: KMG Sports Management) replied with 14 points and the former international forward Adrien Moerman (203-88) added 13 points in the effort for Limoges CSP Elite. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Paris-Levallois have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Dijon. Defending champion Limoges CSP Elite keeps the third position with seven games lost. Paris-Levallois is looking forward to face SPO Rouen (#14) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Limoges CSP Elite will play against Chalons-Reims (#12) and is hoping to win this game.
