Four Ciego de Avila players scored in double figures. Ciego de Avila's coach Jesus Martus used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side swingman Yosniel Morales (196-87) responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 15 rebounds and forward Fernando Chapman (190-88) scored 19 points. Ciego de Avila have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to second place. Las Tunas lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the seventh position with 22 games lost.
