The game was mostly controlled by Ciego de Avila. Las Tunas managed to win third quarter 20-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Joan Luis Haiti (200-82) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 8 rebounds and guard Davisley Granados (185-83) who added 11 points during the contest.
