Regular Season Round 39: Oita H.Devils - Shimane SM 56-63

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when seventh ranked Shimane Magic (13-24) won against on the road 6th ranked Oita Heat Devils (13-24) 63-56 on Saturday. Oita Heat Devils were trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 20-11 charge of Shimane Magic, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for American forward Isiah Brown (203-89, college: E.Tenn.St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 15 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Joe Chapman (193-84, college: Marquette, agency: I.D.S. Law) contributed with 15 points for the winners. American center Todd O'Brien (213-89, college: UAB) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds and guard Taishiro Shimizu (183-81) added 5 points and 5 assists in the effort for Oita Heat Devils. Oita Heat Devils' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Shimane Magic moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Oita H.Devils. Shimane Magic will have a break next round.
