Another exciting game was between fifth ranked Saint Vallier and 7th ranked Rueil where Saint Vallier (16-8) beat Rueil (15-9) on the road 73-69. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Rueil. The game without a history. Saint Vallier led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Saint Vallier forced 22 Rueil turnovers. It was a good game for guard Jesse Delhomme (189-85) who led his team to a victory with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Serbian swingman Milos Markovic (201-84, agency: BeoExcell) contributed with 8 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Serbian forward Nikola Gacesa (206-87, college: TCU) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and swingman Kevin Bichard (196-86) added 11 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Rueil. Four Rueil players scored in double figures. Saint Vallier moved-up to fourth place. Rueil at the other side dropped to the fifth position with nine games lost. They share it with Vichy and Chartres. Saint Vallier will play against Cognac BB (#15) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Rueil will play against Sorgues BC (#13) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
