Regular Season Round 37: Boras - Jamtland 96-61

Very expected game when 11th ranked KFUM Jamtland (6-26) was smashed on the road by third ranked Boras Basket (22-9) 96-61. The game without a history. Boras Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to KFUM Jamtland's 42 and made 16-of-19 charity shots (84.2 percent) during the game. They outrebounded KFUM Jamtland 46-34 including 35 on the defensive glass. Boras Basket players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. American point guard James Miller (182-79, college: N.Carolina A&T, agency: Higher Vision Sports) fired 20 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. The former international Christian Maraker (206-82, college: Pacific) chipped in 17 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Boras Basket players scored in double figures. American center Trevor Gruis (208-91, college: S.Dakota) produced 16 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import swingman Dwayne Mitchell (196-82, college: La-Lafayette, agency: Interperformances) added 10 points and 8 assists respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Boras Basket maintains third place with 22-9 record behind leader Norrkoping. KFUM Jamtland at the other side stay dead last with 26 lost games. Boras Basket's next round opponent will be Uppsala Basket (#6) at home.
