Civitanova defeated 4th placed Cagliari A. in Civitanova Marche 75-66. Cagliari A. trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 21-17 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 66-75 at the end of the game. They outrebounded Cagliari A. 42-20 including a 32-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was swingman Marica Gomes (168-78) who scored 22 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Guard Federica Iannucci (172-93) chipped in 21 points. Four Civitanova players scored in double figures. Civitanova's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Sabrina Pacilio (176-76) produced 24 points and guard Patrizia Marcello (176-76) added 12 points and 5 steals respectively for the guests.
