Second Stage Round 9: Fryshuset - Malbas 68-81

Basketettan top team - Malbas (8-3) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat sixth ranked Fryshuset (5-6) in Stockholm 81-68. The game was mostly controlled by Malbas. Fryshuset was better in second period 15-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Malbas had a 34-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was forward Niklas Sellin (197-91) who scored 28 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Fredrik Larsson (200-93) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds. Malbas' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Felix Lemetti (182-99) who recorded 19 points and 5 assists and guard Ramendra Haag (187-90) added 8 points and 7 assists respectively. Malbas maintains first place in Superettan with 8-3 record. Fryshuset at the other side keeps the sixth position with six games lost. Malbas will have a break next round. Fryshuset will play on the road against KFUM Blackebergs (#14) in Vallingby and hope to win that game.
