The game between closely ranked teams ended with fourth ranked Toyota Alvark's (22-14) home victory over 5th ranked Wakayama T. (4-31) in Tokyo 100-60 on Sunday. Toyota Alvark dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Wakayama T.'s 24. Toyota Alvark forced 27 Wakayama T. turnovers and outrebounded them 39-28 including 30 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The winners were led by American power forward Xavier Gibson (210-88, college: Florida St., agency: Comsport) who scored that evening 16 points and 9 rebounds and Naoki Uto (-91) supported him with 5 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 23 points and 7 rebounds by American power forward Paul Butorac (208-83, college: E.Washington) did not help to save the game for Wakayama T..
