Very important is a road loss of third ranked Naturhouse Ferrara (14-9) against sixth ranked Recanati (14-10) on Sunday night. Visiting Naturhouse Ferrara was defeated by Recanati in a tough game in Recanati 86-90. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Naturhouse Ferrara. Naturhouse Ferrara was plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Isaiah Sykes (198-91, college: Cent.Florida) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists and center William Mosley (202-89, college: Northwestern St.) who added 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Kenny Hasbrouck (191-86, college: Siena) with 24 points and 5 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) and guard Troy Huff (196-92, college: N.Dakota) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Four Recanati and five Naturhouse Ferrara players scored in double figures. Recanati moved-up to fifth place. Naturhouse Ferrara at the other side keeps the third position with nine games lost. They share it with Reggio Calabr.. Recanati will play against Aget Service IM (#12) in Imola in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Naturhouse Ferrara will play at home against Tortona (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
