Second Stage Round 9: Solna Branten - LF Future 83-82

Eighth-ranked LF Future (7-8) was very close to win a game against fifth ranked Solna Branten (12-3). Solna Branten managed to secure only one-point victory 83-82. However their fans expected easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of LF Future. The hosts were ahead by 1 point but lost the second period ending it with a 9-point deficit before their 23-13 run, which allowed them to win the game. Solna Branten players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Forward Leo Lightner (187-96) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals for the winners and point guard Simon Makkonen (186-94) chipped in 9 points and 9 assists. Solna Branten's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The best for the losing side was forward Emanuel Lindback (199-91) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Caleb Musie (173-95) scored 27 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Solna Branten keeps a position of BEHS forts leader, which they share with Huddinge. LF Future at the other side keeps the eighth place with eight games lost. Solna Branten will play against Jarfalla (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. LF Future's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Lulea to the arena BG Lulea.
