The game between closely ranked teams ended with Elitzur Holon's (6-14) home victory over Elitzur Netanya (2-18) 88-66 on Monday. The game was mostly controlled by Elitzur Holon. Elitzur Netanya managed to win second period 16-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Elitzur Netanya 46-29 including a 36-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Elitzur Holon looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The game was also dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was swingman Sheana Mosch (177-81, college: Duke) who scored 22 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Asia Taylor (185-91, college: Louisville, agency: LBM Management) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Elitzur Holon players scored in double figures. point guard Haiden Palmer (173, college: Gonzaga, agency: LBM Management) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and forward Chastity Reed (185-89, college: UALR) added 13 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Elitzur Holon are looking forward to face ASA Jerusalem (#8) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Elitzur Netanya will play against Hap.Petah Tikva and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
