Regular Season Round 22: Pau-Lacq-Orthez - Nanterre 77-91

No shocking result in a game when second ranked JSF Nanterre (18-4) beat on the road 13th ranked Pau-Lacq-Orthez (10-12) 91-77 on Monday. The game was mostly controlled by JSF Nanterre. Pau-Lacq-Orthez was better in third quarter 14-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for JSF Nanterre especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. It was a very good performance for American point guard T.J. Campbell (175-88, college: Portland) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 5 assists. Naturalized Cameroonian Jeremy Nzeulie (187-91) contributed with 19 points for the winners. American forward Antywane Robinson (203-84, college: Temple) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Kevin Dillard (183-89, college: Dayton) added 14 points and 6 assists in the effort for Pau-Lacq-Orthez. Pau-Lacq-Orthez's coach Claude Bergeaud rotated ten players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. JSF Nanterre maintains second position with 18-4 record behind leader Strasbourg. Pau-Lacq-Orthez lost third consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth place with 12 games lost. JSF Nanterre will face STB Le Havre (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Pau-Lacq-Orthez will play against Le Mans (#8) and hope to win that game.
