The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tallinn: TLU/Kalev (#8) and TTU (#7). TLU/Kalev (6-18) won against visiting TTU (7-18) 71-65. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 19-11. But TTU won second period 24-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of Lithuanian center Robertas Grabauskas (208-90, college: Northwood) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 15 rebounds and American guard Tom Droney (198-91, college: Davidson) who added 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Kiur Akenparg (190-88) with 20 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Jaan Puidet (191-92) scored 5 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. TLU/Kalev have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain eighth position with 6-18 record. TTU lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 18 games lost. TLU/Kalev are looking forward to face higher ranked Valga Kalev (#5) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. TTU will have a break next round.
