The game between fourth ranked Cocodrilos (7-3) and 5th ranked Gigantes (5-5) in Caracas ended with biggest points difference. Cocodrilos beat guests from Puerto Ordaz 72-64. Cocodrilos forced 19 Gigantes turnovers. Gigantes were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a quality performance of power forward Kristoffer Lang (211-79, college: N.Carolina) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Carl Elliott (193-83, college: G.Washington) helped adding 12 points and 6 rebounds. Center Andrew Feeley (206-83, college: UMBC, agency: Promotex) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 15 rebounds and Anthony Young (200-89, college: Ky Wesleyan) scored 17 points and 7 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cocodrilos moved-up to third place.
