There was no surprise in Minsk where 5th ranked GOCOR-Sozh (11-13) was crushed by second ranked Tsmoki II (19-5) 90-65. The game without a history. Tsmoki II led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Tsmoki II outrebounded GOCOR-Sozh 42-30 including 28 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Power forward Siarhei Kazlou (203-95) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). Forward Yauheni Beliankou (198-95) contributed with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Ukrainian forward Ivan Kaliayev (201-87) replied with 17 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Tsimafei Viaroukin (187-93) added 15 points in the effort for GOCOR-Sozh. Tsmoki II maintains second position in League with 19-5 record having just two points less than leader Grodno-93. GOCOR-Sozh at the other side keeps the fifth place with 13 games lost. Tsmoki II will play against Rubon (#4) in Vitebsk in the next round. GOCOR-Sozh will play on the road against the league's leader Grodno-93 and hopes to get back on the winning track.
